How a Book Comes to Life!
Margaret will visit your school or library and address a classroom(s) or larger student groups reading aloud The Cat Cavalry's Farm Adventure and/or The Cat Cavalry's Digging Adventure and will review the stages of writing, illustrating, and book production. It’s an interactive session where Margaret engages audience through open Q&A as well as leading a fun hidden paw print search game. Free handouts include: Word searches, Coloring pages and Paw Print stickers! Also provided is a follow up lesson plan for teachers. It's a perfect complement to any reading and writing curriculum. The forty-minute presentation is adapted for age groups ranging from 5-10.

Reading Time:
Margaret will read The Cat Cavalry's Farm Adventure and/or The Cat Cavalry’s Digging Adventure to your students and provide free handouts. Also provided is a follow up lesson plan for teachers. In partnership with the school, Margaret can lead activity centers for students post reading time.
